Abstract
“In this work the nature of rituals is explored and the gap in-between fashion and spiritualism is bridged. Sacred rituals take form as imagery and garments in a printed issue and a clothing collection. The rituals explored have the intention for the practitioner to ground, connect with nature and deepen the connection to the Self. To be grounded is to be present and prepared for what life brings and cultivating a space for connection and inner knowing is key to thriving.
These rituals may act as a toolkit for practicing creativity consciously and support sustainable ways of working. A ritualistic approach to the design process is studied with the intention of cultivating deepened clarity and the ability to act with alignment during designing.”
Ritual; an act with the intention to make the experience sacred.
